I checked out your website and my daughter-in-law, Shelly, and I have been impressed to meet together to do just that! Fast and pray together and pass on our Kingdom Kalories to some children in Zambia.

My husband, Gerrit, oversees the shipping of relief containers to missionaries and mission hospitals and schools in Zambia. At Chitokoloki, Zambia, the mission school has an enrollment of 1200 students. Most of these children come to school without breakfast, or lunch and supper - only a bowl of mush. Gord Hanna, the administrator of the mission, found a manufacturer of a highly nutritous food product in the capital, Lusaka. The missionaries decided to provide the 400 youngsters in grades 1-6 and an additional 100 children at the leper colony with the special drink and biscuit package that provides the daily nutrients and source of energy for these children.

The cost of purchasing and transporting these food products to Chitokoloki works out to approximately 60 cents per child per day. Shelly and I have decided to fast and pray to help supply funds for this program.

     At present we have 23 children infected with AIDS where both parents are dead. We have seven other children who are not infected so we must keep them separated.

    We covet your ardent prayers for raising funds for proper housing. Land and rental property are so expensive. Our master plan calls for building a permanent orphanage. For one-half acre and building it would cost $15,000.

     Greetings again in Jesus name. I am praying for you for the steps of 2009 and life. After Myanmar nargis Cyclone, many young ladies were became prostitutes and facing selling to sex industries. Many children were parentless. No vitamin, no education and walking on the street, no school.

     America, UK and EU have been sanctioned and banned to Myanmar economics, but the nargis cyclone has opened the door for the support and help to Myanmar, they received the humanitarian support and Aid and help.

     Sometime we are saying and we ask our selves, why we were born and serving in Myanmar, because the very lack and pervery of Myanmar economic system, the very bad policy for ruling by the military junta, no freedom, in many way we are facing pressing indirect and directly.

This money about Rs.840/-will be very sufficient to meet cost od some School text books and notebooks and writing materials for some children, the urgent need which I had been postponing to purchase for the past three months due to lack of sufficient funds. Today I very much remembered you and prayed for you very specially. The Lord has placed you on my heart and I went through your mails of 1995 once again. I am very much impressed by your care and concern through one of your letters. The Lord has been using your awesome services to mould many to the kingdom of the Lord. I praise the Lord for your life."

since I have been teaching in the Bible schools, the Lord has been placing more pressure on me to go to the villages and to gather the rural pastors and evangelists(most of them are independent workers living by faith)and to strengthen them as many of rural pastors are usually receive more threats from the hostile fanatic religious groups, along with constructive Biblical teaching 'to make disciples' as the Lord commanded.

Many of our fellow men are trying to plant and 'build churches' instead of "making diciples". Because many of my fellow brethern are directed to do what Jesus promised that He would do, instead of attempting our responsibility.

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit".Matt 28:19.

"And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it". Matt 16:18

Dear Dr. Swope,

I am going through a very critical time in my life. I won't go into details but until I started reading your book on Silent Prayer, I don't think I realized just how involved God really is in our lives. I tended to look upon the Lord as the CEO who sent out memos and took care of all of the really big things in life. Now, I know that he is continuously looking over my shoulder and taking notes. I am in my second day of fasting and praying constantly while reading both the Bible and your book. God spoke to me in the small voice you speak of and directed me to read Proverbs from the beginning. I knew almost instantly that this pertained to me and I was devastated. He is telling me I must seek wisdom with all my heart and soul. That was when I started fasting, praying and worshipping. I just wanted to thank you Dr. Swope. God is using you to reach out and give me guidance. That guidance has been essential in leading my campaign to give the reigns completely to him.
